Access and haul roads
PolyTrac mats locked into a continuous road across the wet section, the soft approach or the section that keeps failing. Lifted and relaid as the front moves.
Haul road access, laydown areas, drilling pads, crane lifts and camp walkways. Standard sizes by the load, custom sizes to your specification, made and shipped from Australia.
A mine buys ground protection differently. More of it, to a specification, on a date, and it has to arrive without a shipping container's worth of lead time.
Polysource moulds PolyTrac mats, outrigger pads and PolyGrid panels in Australia, which means a bulk order is a production run rather than an import. Standard sizes are held in stock. Custom sizes for a particular haul road width, a particular crane or a particular camp layout are moulded to order, and we tell you the lead time before you commit.
PolyTrac carries heavy loads up to 200 tonne and is rated for exploration, drilling, mining and construction traffic. It is 100 per cent recycled polyethylene, UV stable, and it goes back on the truck at the end of the job for the next one.
Working out a road: each 2300 × 1100 mat covers 2.5 square metres. Multiply the length by the width your vehicles need, divide by 2.5, round up, and allow two joiners per mat. Send us the numbers and the vehicles and we will check the thickness and the count before you order.

Outrigger pads for the site cranes, EWPs and pumps, in the sizes the fleet actually runs, so every set-up uses the same rated pad instead of whatever timber is nearest.

PolyGrid panels between dongas, around wash bays and plant, and wherever people walk through mud. Clip together, drain, never rust.

A wider mat for a haul road, a longer pad for a particular outrigger, a panel cut to the camp plan. Describe the dimensions and the load and we mould it.
Four steps. The first one is the only one that needs you.
Ground conditions, the vehicles and plant that will cross, the area or road length, and the date.
Product, size and thickness for the loads and the ground, and the number of joiners and pads to go with it.
Per unit and per load, with freight to site and a lead time for anything not in stock.
From New South Wales to anywhere in Australia. No import, no port, no container clearing.
We mould here, so your date sets the schedule. It also means the specification is ours to change when the site needs something the standard range does not cover, and the person you ring about it is the person who makes it.
Standard sizes are held in stock at Wollongbar and ship from there. A custom size or a very large run is a moulding schedule. Either way, tell us the date you need it on site and we will say yes or no on the first call, not after the quote.
Quoted to site with the order. Mats and pads palletise and travel by road anywhere in the country.
Yes. Every order can come with a written product specification on our letterhead stating the material, the dimensions and the load capability of each item, for your site documentation. If your HSE process needs a document beyond that, tell us exactly what it is and we will either get it or tell you plainly that we cannot.
PolyTrac is standard in black, black check and green. Ask about other colours for a volume run.
Yes. Ring us and we will work out stock holding and call-off terms for the site.
Ground conditions, the vehicles and plant, the road length or area, and the day it has to be on site. We will come back with product, thickness, count and whether we can hit the date.
