PolyGrid panels clip together into a continuous non-slip path, jetty, platform or pool surround. Recycled polypropylene, 4.2 kilograms a module, made in Australia.
Timber decking splinters and rots. Steel grating rusts and burns bare feet. PolyGrid does neither, and it goes down in an afternoon.
PolyGrid is a tough, lightweight grating panel moulded from recycled polypropylene. Panels clip to each other in any direction, so a path, a platform or a pontoon deck goes together in an afternoon. Where there is a sub-frame, pre-drilled holes let you screw the panels down. Where there is not, they sit on the ground and stay there.
Thousands of dimples cover the top surface, so it is non-slip wet or dry and comfortable barefoot. A third of the panel is open, which lets water drain straight through and grass grow up underneath. It is larger and tougher than the imported grates, and it is made here.
PolyGrid also works as a light duty pathway over muddy ground, and pairs with PolyTrac where vehicles need the heavier mat and people need a walkway beside it.

Fitting it.
Three steps, in this order.
- Lay the first panel
On the ground, or on the sub-frame, with the dimpled face up.
- Clip the next one on
The inbuilt joiners engage in any direction, so the path can turn a corner or widen without cutting.
- Screw down if there is a frame
Through the pre-drilled holes into the joists. On bare ground, weight and the interlock hold it.

Will it take a vehicle?
PolyGrid is a pedestrian and light duty panel. For utes, trucks and plant use PolyTrac bog mats, which are built for it. The two work well side by side.
Is it slippery when wet?
No. The dimpled surface is designed for wet feet, which is why it is used around pools and on pontoons.
Can I cut it?
Yes, with ordinary tools, to fit an edge or an obstacle. Most layouts need very little cutting because the panels join in every direction.
How many panels for my area?
Each module covers 0.48 square metres. Divide your area by 0.48, round up, and add a few for cuts. Or send the dimensions and the count comes back with the quote.
